Fantassin au 60e Régiment d'infanterie, le Bisontin Lucien Bersot, maréchal-ferrant et jeune père de famille, fait son devoir de citoyen. Il attend impatiemment sa prochaine permission. Mais le destin en a décidé autrement à cause d'un pantalon.
