I hate it because is supposed to be a villian. Yet, no matter how much they advertise how they're gonna make him bad, he's gonna end up doing good in the movie. He's gonna end up saving someone just to get that happy ending. Directors are little girls when it comes to taking risks and letting the movies play how they should play out. They stick the the cliche of the main character always does good in the end. DC tried to do it with Suicide Squad but they sucked and still made it to where the bad guys did good in the end. If they (villians) do as they're supposed to in a movie, it actually opens up the potential for many sequels to come. Because people want a happy ending. That doesn't mean you should cram it all into one movie. Look at The Hobbit for example. The second movie didn't end on a happy ending, but it left the potential up to the third movie. The third movie picked it up right where it left off and successfully finished it. Directors just need to take risks. Not necessarily calling them risks since it's literally a villian doing bad which is what they're supposed to do."
