A Kyoto, au XIIème siècle, quiconque tente de franchir le pont de Gojoe durant la nuit est systématiquement décapité par des fantômes. Les autorités ne croient pas à de telles légendes et placent régulièrement des patrouilles aux abords du pont. Mais rien n'y fait. Elles aussi sont décimées par ces mystérieux revenants.

Ignorant les avertissements de son maitre, Kenkei, un ancien guerrier reconverti en moine pacifiste, s'est juré d'apprivoiser les démons de Gojoe.

All these superhero movies and anti- superhero movies are getting old and boring. How about something new and unique. No more remakes. No more CGI. No more sequels or prequels. When the new Death Wish movie came out I decided to read the book instead. I saw The Nun the other night and it was total garbage. Saw The Happytime Murders and that was actually decent. Seeing a more adult side of puppets. Kinda like Meet The Feebles and Avenue Q. (I know that last one is a stage play, but still good.)"
