C’est l’histoire d’un homme qui a une caméra greffée dans le cerveau et qui filme donc tout ce qu’il regarde. C’est l’histoire d’une femme, Katherine Mortenhoe, qui s’enfuit pour "mourir libre". Voulant échapper aux médias, en l’occurrence une émission de télévision, elle ne sait pas qu’elle est aidée dans sa fuite par celui-là même qui la filme.
