Durant leur périple, ils rencontrent le chien Sputnik qui tente de rentrer auprès de son maître Sacha après dix ans dans l'espace. La tâche s'annonce plutôt hardie quand ils doivent diriger la navette à travers des champs d'astéroïdes.
