Autrefois, le Peuple des Mers construit un temple et y cacha un trésor : la Couronne des Mers. De nos jours, Sacha et Pikachu rencontrent Lizabeth, descendante du Peuple des Mers et Jackie, Pokémon Ranger chargé de protéger un oeuf de Manaphy et de trouver le Temple. Soudain, les voilà attaqués par Fantôme le pirate qui projette de conquérir le monde et voler la Couronne des Mers, mais pour cela il a besoin de cet oeuf.
