Clichéd and forced dialogue, awkward and out of place \"comedy\", unfinished-looking special effects, Riz Ahmed as the villain for crying out loud, and Tom Hardy's weird accent. Not looking forward to this in the slightest. And I haven't read that many Spider-Man comics that feature , so correct me if I'm wrong here, but since when has Eddie Brock been this awkward wimp?\n\nI said it before and I'll say it again. This film and all the other Spider-Man spin-offs Sony apparently has in development come across as desperate cash-ins in order to squeeze as much money as possible out of the Spider-Man license.\n\nMarvel Studios just made Spider-Man work again with Homecoming, and with amazing results, thanks to Marvel and Sony's rights sharing deal. And Far From Home will probably be at least just as good. So why not let them work their magic and allow them to include all the other Spider-Man related characters into the MCU? Instead of going about pretending you know better what to do? Which, given Sony's track record with the TASM films, they do not know what they're doing, especially under the \"guidance\" of Avi Arad and Amy Pascal.\n\nIt seems to me that Sony is preparing to screw Marvel and Disney over by establishing an alternative setting for Spider-Man villains, one that they can slide Tom Holland's Spider-Man into when the contract with Marvel is up. After that they'll forever deny Marvel access to all Spider-Man characters but keep confusing audiences and pretending that the \"Sony Universe\" films still take place in the MCU.\n\nAnd don't tell me that the effects will be better in the final movie. No self-respecting studio would dare to release a trailer with unfinished effects. Unless they're looking to make themselves look ridiculous.\n\nAnd all this talk of how is \"adjacent to the MCU, to this new world we're creating for Peter Parker,\" and all this poor PR crap that Amy Pascal keeps spewing. I call bullshit. If Kevin Feige doesn't confirm it, and if the film/trailer doesn't have the Marvel Studios logo on it, it's not connected. Like I said, it's all about confusing audiences.\n\nI'm all for different kinds of comic book movies, but everything about this movie just seems awful, both from a creative and business point of view. I, in no fashion, cannot and won't support this movie."
