THis confuses me. How does this movie play into Marvel universe and the timeline? and where are on Earth is SpiderMan through this whole thing? Or is it an alternate universe where there is no SpiderMan(probs a silly question)? Or is this canon for the most part to some of the comics? Because I havent read much of the Marvel comics tbh. Is this part of the huge MCU movie connections? Is REALLY a villian in this or is he more of a vigilante with a much more devious way of going about it?"
