Hanté par un accident tragique, Nihat accepte un emploi de gardien dans une tour de guet d'où il peut observer l'immensité de la forêt. Seher est hôtesse dans une gare routière rurale de la même région. Une série d'événements réunit ces deux êtres isolés, au passé trouble. Contraints à s’entendre, ils forment un couple qui, malgré son déséquilibre, réveille en eux la compassion et apaisera peut-être leur chagrin.
