A la fin des années 1800, Isabel Archer, jeune Américaine en visite chez ses cousins anglais, choque son entourage par son esprit libre et aventureux. Son cousin Ralph, phtisique incurable, l'aime en secret. Elle part à Florence où une amie la jette dans les bras de son amant, Gilbert Osmond. Isabel l'épouse. Quelques années plus tard, elle découvre qu'elle a été manipulée. Elle affronte son mari et retourne aupres de Ralph, qui lui avoue son amour sur son lit de mort.

seems to rhyme with upgrade (starring Logan Marshall-Green). I mean: some parasite/being/chip is introduced into your system and has complete power over your natural being. Funny thing is that Tom Hardy and Logan M. Green could be dopplegangers....kind of a coincidence"
