Dans le Japon ancien, échappant à leurs ennemis, deux samouraïs blessés échouent dans un temple perdu au beau milieu des montagnes. De jeunes et séduisantes femmes les accueillent. L'un des deux hommes meurt. L'autre est soigné par un mystérieux hôte, qui se révèle être Aragami, créature qu'il va devoir assassiner pour pouvoir quitter le temple...
