Ali Baba, serviteur du riche Cassim, tombe amoureux de la belle Morgiane. Celle-ci, danseuse pour Cassim, vaut très cher et quand Ali Baba découvre la cachette d'une bande de voleurs, il a l'idée de s'approprier le trésor caché afin de racheter Morgiane. Toutefois les quarante voleurs ne comptent pas se laisser dépouiller si facilement.
