Antoine Beretto, ancien gangster, s'est reconverti en tant qu'armateur sur la Côte d'Azur. Un jour, deux anciens complices lui rendent visite. Ceux-ci lui demandent un bateau en direction de l'Italie ainsi qu'un prêt de quatre millions de francs, somme qu'il pourra récupérer auprès de Léonard Michalon. Or ce dernier, en parfait imbécile, s'est attiré les foudres du "Colonel", militaire britannique à la tête d'un gang. Antoine et son ami Jeff devront alors, malgré eux, protéger Michalon afin de récupérer l'argent.
