Après quelques aventures pour trouver une guitare, Miraldo, virtuose en la matière, accepte de lui donner des cours de guitare. Ces leçons amènent Max à rencontrer la communauté manouche et plus particulièrement Swing, une jeune fille farouche au tempérament explosif qui a tout du garçon manqué…
