Dans un monde aux paysages verdoyants, l'apparition de terrifiantes créature contraint tous les habitants à se réfugier dans une ville fortifiée. Seuls les intrépides jumeaux Zak et Kyle sont restés à l'extérieur. Mais Kyle disparaît subitement, sans laisser de trace. Son frère Zak part à sa recherche et rencontre sur son chemin Wowo, pachyderme poilu, et Indiana, mystérieuse hors la loi. Ensemble, ils se lancent dans une aventure extraordinaire pour sauver le monde merveilleux qui les entoure.
