Harry Kilmer, aujourd'hui détective privé et agent immobilier, a servi au Japon à la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. A l'époque, il était éperdument amoureux d'Eiko Tanaka, une Japonaise. Il est rentré aux Etats-Unis quand celle-ci a refusé sa demande en mariage, pour des raisons qui lui sont demeurées obscures. Avec l'aide de George Tanner, un ami proche, il a acheté un restaurant pour Eiko. Bien des années plus tard, George demande à Harry de revenir au Japon pour l'aider à retrouver sa fille, qui a été enlevée par une famille de yakuzas enrichie par le trafic d'armes. Après avoir longuement hésité, l'ancien soldat accepte cette mission, qui le confronte à son passé. Un scénario de Paul Schrader et Robert Towne, que Scorsese aurait aimé tourner.

ReplyI think, SONY HAS TO HAVE A DEAL, they gave SpiderMan rights to be used by Disney, so there has to be a catch to this Dark Verse.\n\nI think Sony, is Quietly Building a DARK KNIGHT world, I think we are going to see SpiderMan show up in Sony Features, now, the SpiderMan we get is probably all grown version, in the SONY VERSE of Heroes. Sony keeps the ADULT VERSION of Spidey while Disney gets the Kids version of it. Similar to the Jungle Book versus Mowgli.\n\nAdult, Rated R version Spider Man.\n\nEspecially The Sinister Six or SpiderMan/ Versus Carnage.\n\nWho would the CAST as an ADULT SPiderMan, cause they have Tom Hardy on Deck???? \nOpinions !! !! !!
