Année 1564, alors que les Flandres subissent l’occupation brutale des Espagnols, Pieter Bruegel l’Ancien, achève son chef d’œuvre "Le Portement de la croix", où derrière la Passion du Christ, on peut lire la chronique tourmentée d’un pays en plein chaos.
Le film plonge littéralement le spectateur dans le tableau et suit le parcours d’une douzaine de personnages au temps des guerres de religions. Leurs histoires s’entrelacent dans de vastes paysages peuplés de villageois et de cavaliers rouges. Parmi eux Bruegel lui-même, son ami le collectionneur Nicholas Jonghelinck et la Vierge Marie.

ReplyThis doesn’t llook as good as in Spider-Man 3, it doesn’t seem like this movie is going in the right direction, if you think about Spider-Man 3 and how (creature) plummets onto earth and mentally and psychically overpowers the person (victim) that becomes fused with it but doesn’t merge with the person like if he were to be half human half compared to being fully human and wearing over you and clings to any person with anger (revenge/hatred) needs to cling to a person/being to stay alive, anyways I personally think they have gone in the wrong direction for the movie.\nIf you don’t agree well that’s your choice"
