Suite à un malentendu, Camille s'éprend de Marc Duveyrier. Ce dernier, séduisant agent immobilier et patron de Simon, tente de vendre un appartement à Odile, la soeur de Camille. Odile est décidée à acheter cet appartement malgré la désapprobation muette de Claude, son mari. Celui-ci supporte mal la réapparition après de longues années d'absence de Nicolas, vieux complice d'Odile qui devient le confident de Simon.
