Malgré une vie plutôt tranquille, Christine Penmark est hantée par des cauchemars qui semblent remonter à son enfance. Elle finit par s'en enquérir auprès de son père, qui lui avoue l'avoir adopté après que sa mère, une tueuse en série, aie tué sa propre famille. Pendant ce temps, Rhoda, la fille de Christine commence à commettre ses premiers meurtres, au gré de ses caprices.

All in all, this lools like yet another children's movie in adult clothing...The only adult superhero movies are still only Christopher Nolan's Batmans and The Watchmen.\n\nAnd that end-scene is cringy as hell. Sony Pictures seems to put so much for effort, passion and devotion to their projects.
