Tout le monde se précipite pour admirer le défilé annuel de la victoire, véritable fête à Célesteville qui se conclut par un beau feu d'artifice. Les enfants de Babar ne veulent pas aller se coucher, aussi leur père leur raconte-t-il l'origine de cette fête. Alors qu'il n'était encore qu'un éléphanteau faisant ses débuts à la cour royale, Céleste lui annonce que Rataxés et son armée de rhinocéros envahissent le pays. N'écoutant que son courage, et face à ses conseillers Cornelius et Pompadour, Babar décide d'aller seul à la rescousse de son pays. Ces premières aventures de Babar au cinéma, agrémentées de chansons entraînantes, ravira les plus jeunes.

has been one of my favourite comic book characters ever since i was a kid, and i've been waiting for a good on screen for so long. And I have to say, from the bottom of my heart.. This looks like complete garbage. The effects look dated already, the design of is about on par with Spiderman 3, and the dialogue is just straight up cringe. \n\nI know i'm in the minority here but i\"m just really disapointed with what i've seen so far."
