A la suite d'une union secrète entre Inès et le duc de Nevers, ce dernier est assassiné lâchement par un mystérieux inconnu. Lagardère, fidèle serviteur et admiratif de son maître, promet de le venger et d'élever sa fille Aurore. Pour ce, le duc lui donne avant de mourir le secret de sa mystérieuse botte : la botte de Nevers. Pendant dix-sept ans, il vengera le duc en se faisant passer pour son fantôme, et tuant sans relâche les hommes qui ont participé à son meurtre. Mais il ignore toujours le nom du commanditaire qu'il a blessé à la main lors du combat...

    Can already predict the outline of this film though. Start with Eddie, he finds out about the experiments, Eddie gets sick and breaks out of the hospital, Introduce , Multiple groups show up to stop him and get taken out, Corporate dude creates Riot and other Symbiote villains, fights them for the majority of the second half leading to a final showdown between and Riot. \"Night, Mrs. Chen\""
