La police soupconne Scott Henderson du meurtre de sa femme, retrouvee etranglee. Sa secretaire, Carol Richman, va tenter d'enqueter sur ce meurtre et se fait aider d'un ami de Scott, Marlowe. Mais peu a peu les temoins disparaissent. Elle finira par retrouver l'assassin, grace a un curieux chapeau de femme.

And their camera work is always boringly slow cinematography. That’s why they have such a hard time releasing good films.
