Rambo III

Le Colonel Trautman contacte Rambo dans sa retraite en Thaïlande pour qu'il l'accompagne dans une mission périlleuse en Afghanistan. Mais l'ex-soldat refuse afin de se consacrer aux moines bouddhistes qui l'ont recueilli.
Lorsque, quelques jours plus tard, l'agent Griggs lui explique que Trautman a été capturé par le Colonel Zaysen, Rambo décide de sauver son ami. Il s'infiltre dans les lignes ennemies et découvre toute l'horreur du conflit qui oppose les moudjahidin à l'armée soviétique.
Déterminé, il s'attaque à toute une armée sans oublier son objectif premier : récupérer Trautman.
