Replylooks cool but I can't believe how superficial a lot of the mainstream fans are. For starters, Eddie Brock's memorability lies in his HATRED for Spider-Man and Peter Parker. What makes so awesome is the fact that his existence is derived from Brock's own insanity and Spider-Man's doings. The Jekyll and Hyde relationship between Brock and the symbiote looks cool and all, but as a Spidey fan, I personally feel let down with the exclusion of a tantamount rivalry. It's like a Joker film where Batman never existed, or a Lex Luthor film where Superman never existed. I'm sorry if I come across as cynical but I'm not keeping my fingers crossed."
