Matt, un artiste en panne d'inspiration, et sa femme Kate achètent une grande demeure isolée. Alors qu'ils entament la rénovation de la bâtisse, ils découvrent une pièce cachée et apprennent que les précédents occupants ont été assassinés. La mystérieuse chambre s'avère magique : elle peut concrétiser tous leurs voeux. Matt et Kate réalisent rapidement les limites à l'exaucement de leurs souhaits. Par ailleurs, Matt rend visite au tueur des propriétaires assassinés, interné dans un hôpital psychiatrique. Après le très remarqué "Renaissance" en 2006, le Français Christian Volckman revient avec un thriller fantastique, salué par le prix du public au Festival du film fantastique de Strasbourg.

One question - why does it resemble spider man (eyes, white lines along it) if it was never joined to spider man in this universe?
