Trois frères se retrouvent pour enterrer leur père dans le kibboutz de leur enfance. Avishaï, le plus jeune, doit partir deux jours plus tard à la frontière libanaise où un nouveau conflit vient d’éclater. Il sollicite les conseils de ses frères qui ont tous deux été soldats. Itaï souhaite endurcir le jeune homme tandis que Yoav n’a qu’une idée en tête : l’empêcher de partir. Dans ce kibboutz hors du temps, le testament du père va réveiller les blessures secrètes et les souvenirs d’enfance...
