À 14 ans, Serginho se doit d’être l’énergie vitale du foyer familial quitté par son père et délaissé par une mère déprimée. Alors qu’il n’a pas encore vécu son adolescence, il doit, seul, assumer des responsabilités d’adulte. Le manque d’entourage affectif familial, entremêlé à l’impossibilité de vivre la quête de soi, crée en lui une confusion sur ce qu’il est. Sans comprendre ses propres désirs, il cherche à combler ses carences dans la figure de son professeur.
