1944. Surnommé le Renard du Désert depuis ses campagnes à la tête de l'Africa Korps, le Maréchal Rommel est chargé d’organiser les défenses allemandes en cas de débarquement alié en France. Dans son QG français, il accueille son nouvel adjoint, le Général Speidel. Rapidement les deux hommes sympathisent. Rommel qui compte beaucoup d’ennemis au sein du 3è Reich, sait qu’il peut faire confiance à Peidel, qui n’est pas un fanatique nazi. Persuadé que le débarquement approche, Rommel tente, en vain, de convaincre Hitler de lui accorder des renforts. Face au refus du Fuhrer, Speidel propose à Rommel de participer à un projet d’attentat contre le leader nazi. Le Débarquement a lieu, et l’Histoire s’accélère…

Replyat least, this is far more in-line of what is in the comics, though it seems they are going to rush into being the anti-hero (a hero who causes more harm than good) much earlier. imagine if they actually made movies that have villains winning. (not the same as bad guy wins, but good guys make come back ie Infinity war)"
