Ayse, une jeune fille de 19 ans est choisie dans un village en Turquie pour officiellement épouser leur fils et se joindre à la famille.
La réalité est toute autre ; en secret, parce que Fatma l’a décidé, Ayse est promise au père, en tant que seconde épouse.
Dès lors, une relation de confiance et de complicité va se développer entre les deux femmes.
