Sony had Eddie brock being a somewhat quippy guy who's strung along his symbiote buddy.\n\nGetting over the fact this has no connection to spiderman, if they made Eddie brock be a sort of gray area reporter willing to do whatever for a scoop, and maybe even take a page out of his origin where he pegs the wrong guy for murder costing his job, we could have an man filled with anger and resentment have his worst qualities amplified by the suit, as he comes to term with who and what he is while becoming the lethal protector."
