Tom, un jeune Ecossais qui a passe une partie de son enfance avec son pere archeologue au royaume des singes, au sud de l'Inde, reconnait, lors d'une vente aux encheres a Londres la statue d'Hanuman, le dieu singe que son pere avait decouverte. Pour tenter de mettre fin a ce trafic d'oeuvres sacrees, il decide de repartir au royaume des singes et de combattre les vandales qui le pillent. La il retrouve Anja, son premier amour, sur le point de se marier avec un Indien. Devenu genant, les trafiquants vont tenter de le supprimer. Mais Hanou, un jeune macaque, va lui sauver la vie.

    I think the important question and how this movie will do is figuring our what rating this movie will be. It still not yet rated but if is straight up eating people, it may be R-rated. Maybe the dialogue will change as well reflecting the rating?"

    I'm just going to say it, this movie might be terrible. I would love to see a movie like everyone else but they are really going to mess it up somehow and make very hated in the marvel cinematic universe, just look at what happened to green lantern. Who knows this might actually be a decent or even good movie but it can't be too good of a movie in reality."
