Paris-Téhéran. Une histoire d'amour entre deux déracinés : Gecko, jeune affranchi dont chaque pas est une danse, et Anahita, iranienne en fuite, accrochée à l'actualité de son pays. En juin 2009, suite aux élections controversées en Iran, les rues sont envahies par les manifestants. Le régime islamique, soucieux de contrôler son image, arrête les journalistes. Les citoyens décident de témoigner en filmant et diffusant les événements sur YouTube. Ces images sont livrées brutes et choquantes. A Paris, Anahita affronte ces images et y cherche ses proches. A son contact, Gecko est renvoyé à sa propre histoire, et ensemble, ils entament un combat identitaire, mus par la volonté de s’affranchir. Peu à peu leur histoire individuelle est contaminée par l'Histoire et sa médiatisation incessante et inédite sur Internet.
