En discutant avec June, John apprend que son frère a lâchement été abattu dans la petite ville de Centennial, par un groupe de cowboys à la solde de Matt Gerson, le propriétaire du saloon de la ville qui contrôle une grande partie de la région et qui y fait appliquer sa propre loi. John décide alors de mener une enquête...
