Les amours au lycée. La perte d'un être cher. Ce sont des moments de nos vies que nous ne pouvons oublier. Patrick et Carol Darling sont deux frères adolescents qui doivent à leur tour faire le deuil de leur amour de lycée... la si belle Wendy, mystérieusement disparue quelques semaines plus tôt. Or, l'un des deux frères refusent obstinément de croire en sa mort. Son corps n'ayant jamais été retrouvé, il s'enfonce dans les bois où elle a disparue afin de comprendre ce qui aurait pu s'y passer. Une recherche qui s'avéra fructueuse puisque la belle Wendy y est présente, attachée entre deux arbres, le regard perdu et le corps putride.
