Dans un univers virtuel du nom d'Avalon(f), suite à une guerre thermonucléaire le monde n'est plus qu'un immense champ de bataille désertique, parcouru par des monstres nommés "Suna Kujira" (Baleines des Sables). Quatre combattants, trois femmes et un homme, affrontent ces créatures sous la supervision du terminal central du jeu. Ils doivent unir leurs forces pour affronter l'ennemi le plus puissant du niveau : Madara Suna Kujira.
