Pour le passage au 21ème siècle, le Père Noël cède sa place à son fils, Nick, qui n'en veut pas. Rien ne va se passer comme prévu car Nick souhaite rompre avec les traditions. Lors d'une réception, il tombe amoureux de la présentatrice météo, Heidi. Elle lui présente un ami, Hector, qui lui conseille d'utiliser Internet afin de récolter de l'argent et faire la distribution des cadeaux.
