Alors que Los Angeles est ravagée par les bombes et polluée de cendres toxiques, Brad s'enferme dans sa maison pour se protéger en calfeutrant portes et fenêtres comme les autorités le recommandent. Il aurait bien voulu retrouver sa femme Lexi, mais il n'a pas réussi à la rejoindre et il a été obligé de se replier chez lui.
La ville est assiégée, la loi martiale est décrétée. Chacun va essayer de survivire, affrontant la pénurie et le manque d'informations.
Lorsque Lexi se présente à leur maison, Brad affronte le premier d'une série d'épouvantables cas de conscience. Doit-il ouvrir à celle qu'il aime en courant le risque de contaminer le dernier sanctuaire dans lequel il a une chance de survivre ?
Face à la fatigue, aux rencontres, aux heures qui s'égrènent pendant que le poison envahit tout, Brad et Lexi vont vivre les plus éprouvantes, les plus effrayantes des épreuves.

ReplyAll these superhero movies and anti- superhero movies are getting old and boring. How about something new and unique. No more remakes. No more CGI. No more sequels or prequels. When the new Death Wish movie came out I decided to read the book instead. I saw The Nun the other night and it was total garbage. Saw The Happytime Murders and that was actually decent. Seeing a more adult side of puppets. Kinda like Meet The Feebles and Avenue Q. (I know that last one is a stage play, but still good.)"
